Dale Skran

NSS Chief Operating Officer
and Senior Vice President

The National Space Society invites you to an exclusive Town Hall featuring NSS COO/SVP Dale Skran, moderated by Space Forum host Burt Dicht. This is your chance to engage directly with NSS leadership and learn about two critical topics shaping the future of space advocacy:

  • Insights from the NSS 2025 Membership Survey: Over 500 members responded to our annual survey. What do our members think about the next steps in space exploration, development, and settlement? How should the NSS adjust its strategic focus to align to the evolving space industry? Join the town hall to hear the results and how NSS plans to act on them.
  • March Storm 2025: Advocacy in Action: Last week, NSS citizen-advocates took to Capitol Hill during March Storm to engage with policymakers and push for key space initiatives. Dale will provide a full debrief, highlighting the objectives, discussions, and potential impacts of this year’s efforts.

Following the presentations, you can ask Dale and Burt questions about the survey, NSS’s advocacy, policy efforts, and future initiatives.

  1. North Americas market for lighting rods is about 625 million per year per the Internet. As the cost put out on the town hall to detect incoming small rocks is about 200 million I would give this some thought.
