Colonel Aaron T. Stevenson

Deputy Director of the Commercial Space Office (COMSO)
Space Systems Command, U.S. Space Force

Join us for an insightful Space Forum with Colonel Aaron T. Stevenson, Deputy Director of the Commercial Space Office (COMSO), Space Systems Command.

The Commercial Space Office is the main point of contact for connecting the U.S. Space Force with industry to better integrate military missions and programs with the fast-growing commercial space sector. Its mission is to streamline access to commercial space capabilities—delivering space solutions that are faster, more flexible, and more cost-effective than traditional acquisition approaches.

COMSO acts as a one-stop-shop for identifying and integrating commercial space technologies that can enhance national security, from space-based communications to advanced information systems. By shifting toward managed service models, the office enables the Space Force to take advantage of rapidly evolving commercial innovations while maintaining mission assurance.

Col Stevenson will discuss the office’s role in accelerating defense modernization, strengthening industry partnerships, and ensuring that U.S. forces can leverage the best of commercial space to meet today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities and threats. Join us for this engaging and relevant Space Forum—register now.

This Space Forum is presented in partnership with the Huntsville Alabama L-5 Society (HAL5).
