Jerry Stone, FBIS, FRAS, gives presentations on astronomy and space exploration all over the UK and abroad. He gave his first space talk at school back in 1969 when he was 14. Now he does this for a living, with a wide range of informative and entertaining presentations. In the past he has presented space workshops in schools across the UK, inspiring and exciting pupils with a range of space activities. He is often interviewed about space topics on TV and radio. He covered the death of Neil Armstrong on both BBC News and Sky News, and Tim Peake’s return to Earth from the International Space Station. He used to work at the Science Museum in London covering Astronomy, Space, and Exploration.
Jerry is the author of two books and a consultant on several others. One Small Step commemorates the Moon landings; astronomer Patrick Moore described the book as “Marvellous”. Find Out – Space Travel was published in 2019 for the 50th anniversary of the first men on the Moon.
