Rebecca Lauer is a former member of the Board of Directors of the National Space Society (NSS).
Rebecca has worked as a professional advertising copywriter for some of Chicago’s leading agencies, including Foote, Cone & Belding, DDB Global, Frankel & Co., Ogilvy & Mather, and many more. She has won over a dozen international awards for her writing, and has worked in a wide variety of media, including radio, print, direct mail, and the web. Rebecca is a direct mail specialist with over 10 years experience marketing products and services to consumers. Her clients have included the American Medical Association, State Farm, GE, FTD Flowers, Bally’s Total Fitness, John Deere, Discover Card, Washington Mutual Bank, Pearle Vision, McDonald’s and many more.
Rebecca also penned three books for World Book Encyclopedia. She graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Journalism and English Literature in 1977
