Hosted by Lynne F. Zielinsky (NSS VP of Education and Outreach).

With Presenters Jim Plaxco (President of Chicago Society for Space Studies and NSS Space Ambassador), Francis Dellutri (NSS Deputy Director of Education and NSS Board of Directors), and David Stuart (Chair of NSS Chapters Committee and member of the NSS Board of Directors).

And Honorees Stevan Ackerly (NSS Space Ambassadors Program Director), Bonnie Thurber (NSS SpacEdge Academy Manager), and Avinash Shirode (President of NSS Nashik India Chapter).

Please join us as the NSS Excellence Awards are presented to these dedicated volunteers for their distinguished service to the Society.

Following the award presentations, there will be short sessions on the NSS Space Ambassadors Program, the SpacEdge Academy, and NSS Chapters.

Also being presented is the Jim Baen Memorial Award. This award is a science fiction contest jointly administered by the National Space Society and Baen Books and it is designed to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers, as science fiction has always done. Award-winning author William Ledbetter will discuss the award and announce the winners.

Don’t miss this opportunity to recognize and celebrate the contributions of these volunteers and also learn about several key NSS programs.
