NSS President Michelle Hanlon and NSS Vice President of Space Development Greg Autry have been writing key articles on recent events.

An article by Hanlon and Autry appeared in The Conversation November 23: Space law hasn’t been changed since 1967 – but the UN aims to update laws and keep space peaceful. The article was also reproduced by CNN.

Additionally, Hanlon co-authored an article with Josh Smith for The Space Review of January 3 on the recent Chinese complaint against SpaceX at the UN: China says Elon Musk’s Starlink is “phenomenal,” but what is the real message? The article is thought provoking and a useful introduction to the complexity of international diplomacy.

These are both great articles and well worth the time to read.
