Chuck Divine, who has been active in NSS for decades, lost his Mother last week. Chuck and his mother were extremely close and he would talk of her often. I can only imagine the loss that Chuck is feeling. The National Space Society sends our deepest condolences in this time of mourning, Charles. We will keep you in our thoughts.

This long essay defends the NSS Vision against those who, like the author of the book being reviewed, think “we shouldn’t colonize Mars or the Moon, or even vacation there.” Ben Bramble, an Australian philosopher who teaches at Australian National University, has penned a YAASS (Yet Another Anti-Space-Settlement) book. These books are multiplying like flies, so space settlement advocates must be gaining ground to generate such an abundant response.

Sorry to hear about your mother. I lost mine 5 years ago. And my wife lost hers about 3 years ago. Believe it or not, time does help!
