The primary purpose of the Roadmap to Space Art Contest is to inspire the next generation of spacefaring citizens to envision their future living, working, and playing in space. Another purpose is to encourage the creation of space art that can be used by the SmallSat Education Conference, SpacEdge Education, and NSS for the limited use of promoting its non-profit objective of creating a spacefaring civilization.
The Fall 2024 Roadmap to Space Student Art Contest had 444 entries from 4 countries: India, Romania, South Korea, and the United States.

Description: In a distant future, under the shimmering glow of an unfamiliar moon, a team of astronauts embarks on a mysterious mission: to uncover the hidden energies of the lunar core. Armed with colossal spiral drills, they descend into the moon’s surface, carving through ancient, silvery rock. The ground beneath pulses with strange forces, whispering of forgotten civilizations and lost cosmic knowledge. Every turn of their drill reveals ethereal lights and celestial patterns.

By listening to the development of space with all the new technologies, people in space are surprised.
