Jovian Asteroid Diversion Project

by Carl Brown
Category: Asteroid Settlements

Description: As part of a wide-ranging effort to establish a human presence in the Jovian system, an experimental station is established on the irregular Jovian moon Themisto to test various methods of diverting large bodies which could be used on an Earth-crossing asteroid.  This depicts a test using material mined from the moon itself and then ionized to produce thrust.

Medium/Tools Used: Bryce 6 and Photoshop CS.
