Thomas Griffy

Dr. Thomas Griffy is a career military and federal leader with more than two decades of experience spanning security operations, executive protection, and organizational leadership. Commissioned through a university ROTC program, he served as a security forces officer with assignments that included nuclear security operations and high-level executive protection work overseas. He later transitioned into senior staff and coordination roles within federal service, where he oversaw initiatives spanning information technology, budget, and human resources, and went on to hold leadership positions supporting cyber, data, and training programs within the space domain.
Dr. Griffy holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in military history, and a doctorate in leadership studies, along with additional professional development in enterprise leadership and space-related education and training. His contributions have been recognized with multiple honors, including a civilian service award and a joint service commendation. He also serves as adjunct faculty at a university honors college, continuing his commitment to education and leadership development.
